I managed to add another activity by doing it straight after boot-up this morning. So maybe the problem happens when too many other apps running?

After doing a bit of research I've now got Strife to run at start-up by copying the Strife Icon (application reference file which appears on desktop) into the Windows Startup folder.

The Windows Startup folder can be found in XP at C:/Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

I have the same problem - I've got 5 activities, but every time I add a new one it disappears straight after I click Save.

I agree with Wavey - And It would be nice to have something that shows both daily and weekly goal achievements. After all, not all goals take a month to achieve!

For example, if I wanted to work at least 8 hours on a project during the current week, it would make it much more useful to look at my weekly goal chart to see how I am progressing towards my target.

I have to remember to start Strife every time I start-up my PC. It would be nice to see the option to run at start-up added to preferences.
