A comment on the problem "Comcast Pixelation issues (again)." in Comcast:
I do see a pattern here, If it can't be fixed with swapping out equipment at the house, Then it won't get fixed at all... Have your Directors and above take a look at these posts I know for a fact there are many more of us out there with the same problem I just don't know if they know about this site, Comcast should be proactive and monitor your lines with the cricket , I know how Matt really feels as I have had my issue since 8/2006 You should be lowering your prices as your QOS is really bad.. I know alot of people who have fios and they have had no issues so far, Unfortunately they have not wired my street but have started my town, – wmckin7, on October 25, 2008 20:54

I am going with just an antenna for now, Beats paying over $100.00/month for the poorest service and quality of. over 2 years of pure BS and still same issue's .. and everytime I mention that if its not fixed I will go to Verizon FIOS they turn around and say I will be back with comcast...LOL Well its confirmed Verizon is coming and Comcast is going.
Why comcast still can't fix an issue for OVER 2 years is beyond me... I hope any potential comcast customers read this post before going with them... If they do good luck and don't say we didn't warn you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matt I hope they do better by you than they did with me....

But gverb1219, Melissa and her dept really want to help you, as she says!!!
Have you tried to get credits? that's another issue in itself..
we could/should also just one by one disconnect and go with someone else maybe then they will listen !!!!..
I don't know who posted it but they said if they took this long to fix an issue or treated there customers like this they would be fired..

Matt,
Sounds like the person Melissa is suppose to have contact you must work at the head-end ... LOL. When I told Comcast that they had till the end of the month to fix this issue and that Verizon was in town, They told me I would be switching back to them... of course I laughed... couldn't be worse than what I am experiencing..

I hear ya, I also have the same package and have had everything from the pole and everything connected on the wire replaced including the wire and a booster installed,
It's mostly likely coming from the head -end, Which this group tends to drop the ball every time they are involved saying they don't and do see the issue and that's as far as it goes. I don't know why this Melissa person keeps saying she will direct us to someone who can help, I have had this issue for just over 2 years and because I don't have a better option right NOW I am stuck with comcast, If numerous calls about the same issue doesn't send a red flag to her already or who ever already, I can't see wasting my time.
Maybe Comcast should run some type of report showing issues that are x days old and maybe they would already have this info instead of customers having to post issues here.

Matt good luck, but because I have no other option at the MOMENT, I have had this issue just over 2 years, and still they can't fix it 100%. I will though tell you the techs that have been here and there supervisors have been awesome, But because the issue can only be addressed higher up they ( higher ups) keep dropping the ball. The customer service people the ones you talk to at the 800 number really SUCK!!! they think we should still pay in full for the the lousy cable signal . If I could switch to FIOS or Satelite I would have done it a month after this issue started.. I know Verizon has started to wire the town just not the houses yet...

I have had tiling and freezing for just over 2 years, if it were not for the techs and the supervisors I would have dumped them by now. They have done everything they can it's the other higher up depts that keep dropping the ball, But I don't know how much longer I can wait as FIOS is coming into my town, also they recently started taking my local HD channels away and gave me out of state local channel.. I really hope they get there act together........-
