Have you tried inserting a Unicode space? That worked really well for me and should work well on Windows (charmap.exe) or on the Mac as I noted. – wmiller, on October 28, 2009 16:24

I'm sure it's not terribly easy, given that Mockups is AIR based, but I have to ask... I use QuickLook (and Default Folder X) a LOT to determine files at a glance. Any way that we can get more robust integration for these so that I can see which BMML file is which without having to open them (I'm lazy that way)?
Thanks!

Thanks Peldi - I'm sure it's not used that often... pretty Web 2.0 focused I'd imagine. #2 is actually the more useful of the two - but as you noted, there are hacks - I've just been using "." as a separator for now. FWIW, I can use labels and come up with more elegant clouds where I need to for now.
I'm actually using it in a strange way - we aren't a web 2.0 company at all, and in fact don't use tagging - but your addition of tag clouds encouraged me to design a new approach for our upcoming version that made one of SE's giddy when he saw it.
Thanks for the quick response - for now I'll either duct tape labels together (which will give me more font size and layout control) or "." where I need to. – wmiller, on August 05, 2009 14:24

Tag clouds - I think I'm pushing the edge hereI'm attempting to use a tag cloud for a couple of mockups, and hit a few issues. 1) It would be great if I could set the sizes of my tag items (or at least say, "make this one or these two the largest ones"). 2) I can't seem to make a tag cloud containing any phrases - only single words. For my example I need to have a few values that have two or three words - but short of adding periods between them, there is no way to add them. Can you add this functionality (Item 2 is the more critical for me)?

Exactly Marat - the PNG image feature is handy for some scenarios - but in mine, I'm making upwards of 40 screenshots to cover a whole Win32 application UI - and there is an outer window frame that stays consistent, and a few inner panes that switch sometimes, but are largely consistent - hence my request for includes. I want to change these guys once, and have it reflected in all the BMML files without having to make the change and export a PNG. – wmiller, on March 19, 2009 16:17

Synchronize as png.I like the save all as png option... but I would like something slightly different. Actually TWO things slightly different.
1: A preference (probably off by default) that enables saving a png by the exact same filename every time I iterate a mockup. That is, if I have a mockup named product.xml, every time I save it, save a png export to product.png (simply if the preference is set. That way no additional actions are necessary, just a "Save All".
2: A preference such that if I simply select export as png, it will overwrite the existing one instead of creating a new filename.
