A. Yes you may. Simply go to My Directory and click "Delete From List" (next to the Trash Can picture) for the listing you would like to remove.



Also, anywhere you see this listing (in search results, in a friends' directory, etc.), you can always click the GREEN thumbs up or RED thumbs down buttons to edit your recommendation comments for this business. On the page where you can edit your comments, look for the Trash Can icon under the words "My Comments".

A. We get this question a lot. If your group, such as a chamber, alumni club, neighborhood association, business networking group, moms' organization, etc. has a list of favorite businesses or service providers, simply have the club join as a regular user (just like you or I would). It's a FREE and easy way for the group to share recommendations.

Not only is this FREE, it is usually a lot easier to maintain the list on WOMbeat! than it is keep a website updated. Plus, your members can also connect with each other to build an even stronger sense of community.

A. Of course! We realize that sometimes, for whatever reason, your opinion on a business may change. It's easy to change that setting in WOMbeat!

Simply find the business on WOMbeat! (use the search boxes in the header of each page or scroll through your My Directory).

When you find the business, click the GREEN thumbs up button or RED thumbs down button.



This will navigate you to the page where you can edit your comments and even change your RED (Not recommended) to a GREEN (Recommended) status...or vice versa.

We encourage you to keep your opinions and comments up-to-date for any of the businesses you recommend to your friends. The more you share, the more your friends will share too!

A. The more friends you have on WOMbeat!, the more you increase you access to credible recommendations for great businesses. Just think, the next time you need a plumber, just do a quick search on WOMbeat! and get a recommendation you can trust instantly - without playing phone-tag or chasing email responses.

If you want to share favorite recommendations with people you know and trust on WOMbeat!, simply send them an invitation from WOMbeat! to join you.

To invite your friends, click the Invite More Friends button anywhere on WOMbeat!



On the next page, simply enter the email addresses of your friends, type a personal message and click the "Send Invite" button!

A. The more businesses you and your friends have in your directories, the better the search experience is for everyone. Your friends need your recommendations, and your favorite business need your support! This is the whole point of WOMbeat!



PS. Remember, there is no limit to the type of business you can recommend. If you cannot find a favorite business (even your piano teacher, lawn service, babysitter, etc.), just let us know, and we will add them for you. Look for the "Submit a New Listing" link in the footer of every page.

A. Whenever you see a business listing that is not already in your own WOMbeat! directory, simply click the +Add button next to that listing to add it to your directory.



You can find businesses to add to your directory by checking out the directories of each of your friends. Or, simply search for your favorite businesses by using the search boxes in the header of every page. For more information, refer to the howto topic on "Finding a Business"

A. There are a couple of great ways to find a recommendation on WOMbeat!

First, use the search boxes in the header to enter the what you need. Example: "plumber" near "Tampa, FL". The search results page will default to show you only those plumbers that your friends are recommending.



Second, you can check out the recommendations of each of your friends. On the My Friends page, simply click on the display name of any of your friends to see all their recommendations.

A. It's very easy. In the top right corner of each page, you'll see 2 boxes titled Looking for and Near. Simply type in "what" you are looking for and "where" you are looking for it (like your ZIP code), and WOMbeat! will give you the results - where you can easily find those recommended by your friends.
