Don't show Hulu videos to non-AmericansDon't show Hulu videos to non-Americans - as Hulu doesn't allow us to see them *anyway*, so don't. It makes us sad and cry. ;-)

Getting TwitterSpy to be quiet for an intervalIt would be handy to be able to tell TwitterSpy to be quiet for an interval; eg: quiet 90 would silence twitterspy for ~90 minutes - rather than using on/off - which relies on the user remembering to turn it back on.

WTL reported a problem in Podcastready on January 20, 2009 23:09:
Problems downloading and logging in.This may sound like a tale of woe, but I swear, I'm not making this up!
I went to the site and got ticked off that I couldn't just download it - that I had to log in to do it. Why force me to log in if I just want to have a look at it?
So I created an account. Or tried to. The site kept insisting that something was wrong, even though all the fields were filled out, but wouldn't tell me. Eventually, through experimentation, I found that it didn't like my username - wtl - which I use pretty much everywhere - so I lengthened it, and finally got in. There's no technological reason to require a username to be a minimum of number of characters.
The last straw was when I finally got to the download button, I clicked it and got served:
Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: File exists in /var/www/phplibs/class.mypodder.php on line 76

I'll have another look at it, but the process of just downloading an application shouldn't be an exercise in frustration.

WTL asked a question in enjit on December 30, 2008 18:11:
Chronological ordering of multiple messagesI've found that lately, when I get multiple messages from Twitter Spy, they are in the wrong order - newest messages are listed first, oldest last. I preferred it the other way.
WTL replied on January 09, 2008 20:31 to the discussion "@ replies not showing up in timeline" in Twitter:
When people *not* on my follow list reply to me, I don't get the updates in IM (via Jabber). It's driving me crazy to constantly have to check the web site to see who replied! My @ Replies is set to all @ replies. Did I miss some thing?
I just went and reset my reply setting (just in case) and *all* my replies vanished! ARGH!
