even tho i was excited that it finally sync'd, just to be clear it only worked after i installed the 3.1 beta and ALSO shut off bluetooth. but it would not work at all with 3.0 for me. but as to why you have to.......

i have gotten it to work with each shelf individually, but i want both my movies and music on the phone. i was planning on using this a backup of all my stuff in the worse case of my home was ever damaged and i lost that stuff. i don't even want to think of the tens of thousands of dollars i have just invested in that stuff.....i have made pdf versions and put in my safe and also put them online, but i would also like them on my iPhone.

thanx. i have over 4000 music. ugh....... i also wish the app had the ability to add an item. i'll wish for it to work first before i start making suggestions. hehehe

any more updates on this? it's incredibly frustrating to have a company release a new feature/app for a product, to only have it not work properly. please help us....

my database is 443.8MB - i'm pretty sure i've already tried computer to computer method too, but could u explain a little more to ensure i have done what you're describing please?

1) i have tried both wi-fi and usb - both fail.
2) i have tried both too via hub and direct - both fail.
3) won't do this yet because of new info listed below.

i attempted to sync just one shelf, movies, and it worked fine. i then attempted to sync the music shelf and it worked fine. so then i went to sync both and once again it failed.

Nope, not going to sleep. It fails at about 10% upload every time. I've even tried the shelves independently and the exact same thing happens.

I repeatedly keep getting this error when trying to sync with my iPhone. "There was a communications hiccup while sending your library to the iPhone..." It packs the library fine, but when it goes to upload it fails, every time. I have 2 shelves. Over 1000 movies and over 4000 albums. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Doren

well, i was getting ready to do that for ya, but as i published again it locked-up and i was all ready to copy/paste the error report when i decided to not give up and attempt and curiously decided to publish my movies, which i had never done yet (always tried music shelves). my movies have less than 2000 items opposed to the music which has over 5000. i started the publish and started to cringe when the page creation progress bar got to around 40, but to my surprise it passed that point and went all-the-way! then after about an hour of uploading i was able to view the site and it looked perfect. so then i went for the big boy, the music shelves. again it worked perfectly! i honestly have no idea why this would have finally worked, but i'm loving it! any ideas? thank you william for all your understanding and patience.

yes i get the screen above perfectly. and can choose that choice, but when i select any shelves and actually publish is when it falters. that doesn't really matter because i need to publish my entire collection (both shelves of my movies and music) and it obviously doesn't seem to want to do that. it still craps out around html creation page 40 or so. i do not have a tracking number, sorry. but i can submit another error report if that would help?

i am not nor have i ever included my itunes library to be published. when the publish starts it reports that it has over 300 pages to create, obviously due to my large collection. but it still only gets to about 40 or so pages and locks up the app and i have to force-quit. i still can not select only certain shelves to publish. it sill only publishes everything. i have submitted error logs twice already. and there is no way to send you my collection since it is enormous in size. i really love this app and wished i could get it to publish for me. i don't need a refund, thank you though. i respect that, but am still quite happy with everything else the app does for me. and i firmly believe in supporting company's like yours. i still do hope though that we can solve this. would you like me to email you directly my error logs? not sure who i sent them to previously actually. may have just been to general support.

i'm getting very frustrated with the inability of this software to do one of it's functions we have all paid for. i still does not work. no update has fixed this problem yet. it still tries to publish everything no matter you select. it still locks up and will not cancel the publish. very very pissed off right now. i wanted this software so i could have all my music and movies cataloged and uploaded to the me.com site in order to have a secure backup of everything i own off-site and i'm afraid i may have to start looking for alternative methods to do this unless this issue is resolved. please help us. thank you.

i was trying to publishing only certain shelves and it would only publish "all". it immediately starts making pages to upload. which is technically fine since i do really want my entire catalog publish online. but it keeps stalling and locking my system up. none of the items are coming from itunes. my entire catalog has been migrated from v1. and i have over 5,000 music items and over 3,000 movies. hope this helps solve my issues. thanx!
