Open source airfoil speakers for linux?Since Airfoil Speakers for Linux is "not officially supported by Rogue Amoeba", what are the chances of the source being made publicly available? I'm a professional software developer, and I'd love to take a crack at fixing some of the problems I've been having with the software.
Judging by the amount of official traffic on this forum, I get the impression that the Linux Speakers project is probably someone's part-time hobby. That's fine, but judging by the number of people following the crash thread on the front page, it seems like there might be enough interest that opening the source could result in a better product that adds value to Rogue Amoeba's actual paid product.
Alternatively, if for some reason you'd like to share the source with me privately, you can email me. My gmail account name is matthew.j.singleton.

There's a version that doesn't suffer from that bug available at this url:
http://bigblueamoeba.com/lab/public/
For some reason, that version is not the one officially available on the Rogue Amoeba site. Unfortunately, the bigger problem of crashing immediately when a recent client tries to connect to it does not seem to have been solved yet. Check out this thread for a bit more info:
