What about video advertisements on DailyMotion, YouTube and other popular video sharing sites? Also, is there an image link for Identi.ca like Twitter has? I see that damned "Twitter" link image everywhere I go.
I have a "Follow me on Identi.ca" text link (with the Identi.ca logo as the icon) on my Wordpress blog, StumbleUpon home page and The Nethernet profile, and I have brought up a presence of several communities onto Identi.ca to assist them in spreading their message to the public through microblogging that probably wouldn't be as restrictive as Twitter.
More can be done, though. Hmm... I wonder how well one could integrate Laconica into other projects so that it can be used alongside other software for a more complete social experience. Regardless, the big thing here is advertisement, advertisement and more advertisement. With that and perhaps a (major?) non-microblogging development (e.g. online game with a social networking factor) implementing Laconica and advertising Identi.ca alongside it, I think we would see the rise in popularity we seek.-

Thank you for the quick reply. Though, just a thought on my mind--is that the most efficient system? I would think a better solution would be to have a group without an admin open the position to members to take, and/or when no other members are present, grant the position to the first member who joins. Regardless, I will send the request to the email address given. Thank you again!
Xidram asked a question in StatusNet Inc. on July 07, 2009 15:26:
How does a group that lost its admin get one again?I created a group, but accidentally left it. No other members were in the group yet. I joined again, but did not become the administrator of the group, and the group remains without an administrator. How does a group get an administrator when there is none, and is there a way for me to get myself administrator rank again in that group?
