Nate Angell shared an idea in OpenID Foundation on August 11, 2009 06:08:
How to choose an OpenID provider? The Get an OpenID page does a good job laying out the different options, but doesn't help me decide which one to use, or which to use in a specific case.
New OpenID users will need some help untangling all the different possibilities to make intelligent choices about using different OpenID providers.

Sorry for your crashes AJ! Unfortunately, they are due to your device ;(
hideNtweet takes advantage of the iPhone's camera. We were not aware you were beta-testing with an iPod Touch. Because the Touch lacks a camera, hideNtweet will not run on it. When hideNtweet is released in the Apple App Store, it will not allow installation on a Touch ;(
We are hoping Apple eventually releases the Touch with a camera and full GPS...then they will really rock!
Let us know if you'd like to be taken out of the beta program.

add captions to picturesCan you add captions for pictures like twitpic has?
Nate Angell replied on May 24, 2009 17:51 to the question "What should I do if hideNtweet crashes?" in Dove Valley Apps:
While hideNtweet is in beta, you may experience occasional crashes.
You can help us stop the crashing by sending your crash logs to us at beta@hideNtweet.com.
First, sync the iPhone where hideNtweet crashed with iTunes on your computer.
Then, email all files named something like "hideNtweet_[somedate]_iPhone.crash" to us at beta@hideNtweet.com. If you have a bunch of logs, you might compress them with a tool like zip ("Compress" on a Mac).
Mac OS X users can find the files at:
[username]/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/[your_iPhone]/
(The full path is: /Users/[username]/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/[your_iPhone]/)
Windows users can find the files at:
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\[your_iPhone]\
Windows Vista:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\[your_iPhone]\
If you send us crash logs, we'll be in touch about how the issue might be addressed.

Thanks Ryan! It's hard to keep track of what happens to all this stuff in the byzantine pathways of the social web. – Nate Angell, on March 06, 2009 18:12

Please add favorite places dropdown to mobile home pageLove the mobile interface, but instead of just a link to my favorite places, can you make it a dropdown list so I don't have to go another click? I almost always shout from a favorite place.
Nate Angell asked a question in Shizzow on March 06, 2009 04:54:
Tweeted shout links broken when posted to Facebook?Using shizzow's twitter integration, I shouted and the following was posted to twitter:
http://twitter.com/xolotl/status/1286...
That same tweet was posted to Facebook, which recognized the ending parens as part of the link, thus breaking it. Maybe not put shout links in parens?
Nate Angell replied on February 22, 2009 08:59 to the question "Browse events by tag" in Calagator:
I'm not sure exactly how I'd put it in the UI, but for starters, tags on existing events could be clickable to see other events also thusly tagged.
A browse interface for all tags might be harder to do right, but a tagcloud might be an interesting start, and would also show something interesting about the frequency of tags on calagator.
Nate Angell asked a question in Calagator on February 09, 2009 17:35:
Browse events by tagI know I can browse events by tag, but I don't see navigation to browse by tag. Can you add some? Maybe up by "Venues"?
Nate Angell shared an idea in storytlr on November 28, 2008 21:27:
dynamic/frozen storytlr storiesI want to "freeze" some stories (ie, not let additional content be added to the story, even if it shows up in my lifestream and meets the story parameters).
I want to let other stories be dynamic (ie, allow new content from my lifestream that meets the right parameters be added to a story even after I make it).
Nate Angell shared an idea in storytlr on November 28, 2008 21:23:
edit storytlr story parametersAfter I make a story, I want to be able to go back and change its timeframe, what types of posts are included in it, and any other parameters a story may end up having.
Nate Angell shared an idea in storytlr on November 28, 2008 21:20:
filter storytlr story content by tagsWhen I make a new story, I want to be able to filter what items get added with tags.
Nate Angell shared an idea in storytlr on November 28, 2008 21:19:
aggregate tags in storytlr lifestreamI want tags to come in with items that aggregate from other services.
