After having gotten in touch with Teryo over IM it turns out he was trying to scrobble a song with the metadata title ending with ".mp3". For some reason, this refuses to be scrobbled. Perhaps it is a safety measure on last.fm's part or perhaps it lies somewhere in the last.fm add-on.
In any case, if anyone happens to stumble into problems with scrobbling, be sure to check the metadata thoroughly so that it does not contain an fileformat suffix.

A comment on the question "How do I see a web page as a playlist in Songbird?" in Songbird:
Sometimes the playlist can hide. Try grabbing a hold near the bottom of the browser window, the playlist might've just minimized itself into almost non-visibility. – Yadonashi, on March 13, 2009 02:28

This is a feature that would be very nice to have, indeed. Re-arranging playlists yourself, moving new ones about and such can get a bit tedious.
A simple button next to the "new playlist" button, with the ability to toggle ascending and descending alphabetical ordering of playlists on and off, would be very nice.

Oh, ha. Never noticed that before! I've been using Songbird as my browser for quite some time now and have actually never ventured onto the add-on page without it. Interesting.. find. ;> – Yadonashi, on March 13, 2009 01:00

There is the possibility to only show "installable" in the list of add-ons. You will find it next to the cosy "Apply" button just above said list.
Here is a link for you which shows "installable" add-ons for your version as well as ordering them by "last updated":

Yadonashi replied on March 13, 2009 00:41 to the problem "add-ons updates problem" in Songbird:
I do not have the problem of the "checking" not finishing. However, I have noticed that when checking for updates it doesn't find any, even though I can clearly see on the add-on page that one or more of my installed add-ons _have_ been updated.
I don't know if there is some sort of time delay for the add-ons to be registered as updated or whatnot. But i is rather frustrating that I have to check for updates myself in order to get them as soon as possible.-
