Now i also get an error saying: "Fog Weather Not FoundOKWarning". And the picture doesn't refresh anymore. It is on "night-clear" even though its daylight and foggy outisde. – Yash91, on January 08, 2009 09:35

Can't get the "animated themes" widget "B2AT.widget.rar" to work. I placed it in "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop\Widgets". When i started bumptop desktop, the settings screen jumped up with two options: 1) i had to fill in a directory. 2) i had to fill in the refresh rate. With this settings screen, an error jumps up (which jumps up again as soon as i click "run"). The error is titled "Bump to animated themes." It talks about an unhandled exception, i get to choose "continue" (ignores the problem) or "quit" (closes the app). As a directory i pointed to the "BG ani" directory in "\themes\CS09". What do i do?

Yes! This works without any modification (until now) I dont know if it's just stuck on the last picture (i did delete the previous version i had and deleted any modifications i made myself). Ill have to wait till it gets dark to see if the picture actually changes. But until now, no error! – Yash91, on January 07, 2009 15:55

That is what i had. When i tried that, i got the errors as described earlier, so that is when i made the changes myself.
I still have exactly as you described, however i had to add a copy of the "images" folder in the "\widgets" folder (so outside of the "W2W.widget" folder). – Yash91, on January 06, 2009 21:26

Okay, this did load the widgets succesfully. I had to change some file and folder locations myself (due to some errors that occured such as "[file] could not be located in a specified location." I just had to make sure that file was where it says it's supposed to be, and it worked. (for W2W weather, i had to copy the folder "images", to outside of the "W2W.widget" folder - making sure that the same folder also stays inside "W2W.widget").

Picture frame lag: The source of my picture frames, sometimes randomly jump from source. I have a picture frame with a folder on my computer as a source, but it jumps to "photo RSS feed" which isn't filled in, but then the picture gets stuck, and continuously shows the same picture until I change the source back myself.

Ehm.. we can download widgets from that website, but how do we install them? i clicked on the .exe file that comes in the .rar file, but an error appears, or nothing happens. I tried extracting the rar file into the bumptop installation folder, in the folder "widgets", but still nothing happens... – Yash91, on January 06, 2009 17:28

This certainly sounds like a nice feature to add! my room is always dark (with gloomy light entering from an invisible window. It would be nice to see a change in ligh (daylight/night) as well as the weather !

Bumptop Desktop, just awesome!

Bumptop Desktop is just awesome to play with. It's easy to use so very user-friendly. I think it is a very succesful product and more people ought to be trying this out!
