Because my meeting is very soon, I actually had to just do it on http://www.authorstream.com/ instead - it holds each slide's animations too and the syncing with the audio worked. – Yasmeen, on May 08, 2009 17:40

don't mean to bug, but has there been any progress on this issue? I have a huge board meeting that I'm creating this for that is coming up sooner than I care to remind myself. I'm avoiding all calendars....ahhhh, please help! – Yasmeen, on May 06, 2009 15:32

Yasmeen asked a question in SlideShare on May 01, 2009 19:35:
Audio syncing disappears when I publish - all syncing times lost when I go back into edit mode.I am trying to create a slidecast. I uploaded the presentation, added the audio file location, put in the timer markers, saved it along the way and then hit save and publish, it said it published and then when I went to play it, the little yellow triangle indicating it was a slidecast with audio appeared but no sound. Then I went back in to edit the sound and all the timed markers were gone. The audio was still there as if I had uploaded it, but the sync markers for each slide had "????" as if I had never set it up. I re-did it, saved, published and the same thing happened. I had previously uploaded a ppt, and the sound did play, but it never changed from one slide to the next, to the syncing was also gone, but at least that time it was playing. I found a mistake in the ppt, so I replaced the file, re-associated the audio mp3 file and started over, which is when I had this problem. Working on Mac OS10.5 on firefox 3.0.10.
