It would be handy to add the ability the create 2 separate windows of the same size, either vertical or horizontal, like Fiwi offers

It happened to be particularly bad since I installed it on a new machine. Long after the initial Spotlight indexing, Tags is keeping the top spot along with mds, mdsworker and WindowServer.

I hope you understood my point about keeping menu and Dock only for "working" apps not those blending with OS like iDeskCal. Specially important when working from a laptop.

I just updated to version 2.0.1.1.
Couldn't find a release note to see changes but bumped into the new compulsory option to have iDeskCal icon either on Dock or Menu.
Once my Preferences are set, I can't see why I should access it again (I use shortcuts for iCal new event); and space on Menu or Dock being important (as well as avoiding any clutter), I had to open the .plist and fix it.

I think you should make it a PreferencesPane...!

Otherwise the black&white option was a good move.

still, I'm happy not to have neither of them (Dock or Menu) once my Preferences are set.

Just purchased SizeUp and implemented FinderMinder. I can't believe that what has been bugging me since Leopard is now a buried issue. How many windows do we open on a daily basis?! How many times do we find ourselves reaching the mouse just to re-arrange them?!
SizeUp is fully justified for its Preferences (vs TwoUp) which allowed me to customise Finder's window behaviour to my needs and machine.

The developer's quick response can only be praised helping me to get these 2 out of sight in a tick, still keeping them totally integrated within the OS. Brilliant in its simplicity.

Also big points for the pricing policy.

could it be a problem with the drive itself? How to check that?!
