No, thats not my only problem, all my settings are somehow cleared, although all the mail rules are still there. My folders are gone, I cannot read my email anymore.. I cannot turn it back.

I use Windows Live Mail regurarly.

I just used it the first time I threw a file into the icon, I don't know what happens if I do it again, but I guess nothing will happens since it's already screwed up..

I suggest everyone not to use the email outbox icon in combination with Windows Live Mail where you have 2 email accounts and a news reader, with rules. (Any information you could use to try and reproduce it?) – YoungScripter, on September 04, 2008 13:24

Make this ASAP, its cool! Haha. Have you seen the movies about Microsoft .. whats the name again? They are making some kind of awesome touch screen. It looks a bit like Bumptop but then without physics. Email Outbox icon bug screws up my settings

When I throw a file into the email outbox, my email program (Windows Live Mail) opens up, and screws up my whole inbox. It tells me I have 300 new emails, but, in fact; they are old. It just totally screws up my Windows Live Mail settings & the settings that say if a message is actually read or not. So every single read message in my inbox will turn into not-read... It's pretty annoying. So anyone who uses Windows Live Mail: DONT USE THE OUTBOX ICON until they fix it. Hope you guys are able to fix it, cuase I like the idea.

Also: another bug is: "when you try to rename the Email Outbox icon Bumptop crashes."

(Woah, I'm back, with bugs to fix!)

You have 16bit turned on. Turn it to 32 bit and you should be fine. (Its in your monitor settings)
