Ok, forget what I said. Since Beta 10 my Bumptop started acting really strange. I get black icon textures all the time, for example my .php files give a black texture. Also ini files, executable files, etc.

When I fan out a pile with folders, the fan out once sticked at me, and there is no big red X button to remove the pressure lock. Its pretty strange..

I think I found it. I know why it happened. I tried uninstalling some huge games whichi I dont play anymore and I had to shut it down with taskmanager becuase it didnt responded anymore, so I tried again. Now there were like 4 of the msiexec.exe's running. I shutted them down and the update succeeded. Thanks for your help, Anand!

How can I see any other .msi's? I can only see .exe's running I think.. Edit: MSI's turn out to be msiexec.exe. I don't want to switch them off. Is it save? – YoungScripter, on July 30, 2008 00:32

Hello Sum1Else.

You previously had problems with icons too. I guess the problem for this is that you have Vista. Try updating to Beta 10, tell me if it helps any.

My pictures frames work. My Windows firewall is off. I have XP SP2. My other firewalls accept Bumptop on every aspect. So firewalls & virusscanners should not be a problem. – YoungScripter, on July 30, 2008 00:21

My friend just did a test, and I think it's working. He is at my home now. It's not working for me, tough. It just says cannot send the data to Bumptop HQ or something like that.

Bump this folder crash, afterwards strange Bumptop icons. Any ideas?
The windows are invisible somehow.
