Hi Laura,
Thanks for replying :)
i've tried disabling lyricmaster using safemode. and turned songbird back on normally but the problem is still there. actually i have a correction to make, its not just the album art and lyrics that got messed up. some of the songs in my library has the album title messed up too. furthermore, itunes is showing the correct metadata, album art and all. and i import the data into songbird from itunes. – Zach, on August 11, 2009 01:07

Metadata of library messed upHi, this problem only occurred after installing the latest version of songbird (1.2). the metadata of songs get messed up (for me its the lyrics and album art only), for some odd reason, when i play a song, it shows me the album art and lyrics of another song, specifically, the third song after the currently playing song (song #1 will show lyrics and album art of song #4, so on so forth for all the songs in my library).
and in case it matters, i use LyricMaster for adding/displaying lyrics.
other than that, songbird is still working great as usual
edit:
this problem only occurs to songs that I've chose to save the lyrics. LyricMaster displays the correct lyrics if i fetch the lyrics again.
and I only edit my metadata through songbird.

uninstalled songbird with revo uninstaller, cleaned registry, deleted application data manually. installed songbird again. repeated process for 3 times. didnt helped. im using the latest version of songbird. on windows XP. the acm decoder mentioned up there, cant work for the latest version, so i doubt thats the cause. hope this will be fixed asap. cause songbird is a great application.
forgot to describe exact issue. i select the music to play and it gives me that error. so i check the box for hiding of error notification(something like that, i'm not so sure), then songbird just keeps skipping songs. however some certain songs could be played. but the majority of my music library cant be played.-

A comment on the problem "auto playlist does not add the songs correctly" in Songbird:
ok sorry, didnt realised that its called smart playlist. erm, selection criteria are the 34 playlists that i have slowly chosen. however the smart playlist ended up having songs that werent in any of the 34 playlists. – Zach, on January 25, 2009 10:13

auto playlist does not add the songs correctlyfirstly, i have tons of auto playlists in Itunes, but songbird failed to transfer all the auto playlists into its library, but its ok, i can deal with it, there is enough patience in me to create a normal playlist instead of the auto playlist.
but now theres a problem with creating a auto playlist in songbird for me. i created a auto playlist that is only supposed to load the songs from the playlists that i have specified, however, it goes crazy and added the whole library in it. any fix possible?
