Add a Test FTP Settings Button in Site EditorWhen editing a site in Sites view, I would like to have a button for "Test FTP Settings".
Currently, I have to save the settings, wait for the window to close, then click Reconnect, only to find out the FTP isn't configured properly.
Thanks!

Thanks Cabel.
What I meant was that on _this thread_, the topic of paid upgrade was more implied than stated. I look forward to upgrading to 2.0 with the rest of the fans on this site. – Zack Katz - Denver Web Designer & SEO Professional, on August 12, 2009 14:40

Type-ahead support in Sites ViewWhen you're in the Sites view, you should be able to start typing a site name, and have it highlighted, so that you can open it by either: hitting enter or Command-Down.
This way, with tons of sites, it's still easy to quickly select one. I currently do this with the drop-down menu of sites, but it'd be nice in the full view as well.

The point is that this feature -- and others like auto-completing custom variables -- are widely requested features, and many people feel that it should have been in the v1 release.
Panic should just say that it will only be available for paid upgrade; this kind of feels like being led on. – Zack Katz - Denver Web Designer & SEO Professional, on August 12, 2009 13:05

That functionality is theoretically possible :-) For a service like that, however, I recommend you check out Feedburner. That lets people subscribe to blog email updates.
Zack Katz - Denver Web Designer & SEO Professional replied on April 06, 2009 15:39 to the question "invalid form wordpress" in Katz Web Services, Inc.:
Hi Rachel,
That error means that the unique form ID hasn't been entered. When you configured the widget, there is a field that says "ab1c2def3g". That should be your unique form ID.
Get your code here: Lists > Opt-In Forms and create a form.
When on the "Publish!" tab, the Form ID Code can be found by looking for<form method="post" action="http://oi.vresp.com?fid=ab1c2def3g"…, whereab1c2def3gis the code you want to enter in the field marked "Unique Form ID Code."
Are you able to find the code?
Zack Katz - Denver Web Designer & SEO Professional replied on March 31, 2009 20:52 to the problem "Here's the problem: Espresso has most of the features discussed here." in Panic Inc:
Yes, multiple upload locations, and full sync, but simple things like being able to close tags easily is something I long for!
Here are three things that would make my day:
- Code collapsing (done REALLY nicely in Espresso)
- Good tag completion (like in Dreamweaver, write </ and it automatically knows which tag to close)
- A great code structure navigator
Zack Katz - Denver Web Designer & SEO Professional reported a problem in Panic Inc on March 25, 2009 15:35:
Here's the problem: Espresso has most of the features discussed here.I am trying out MacRabbit's Espresso software, and they've done everything I want. I've already invested in Coda, and I'd like to continue using it, but Espresso is way ahead already.
Might I recommend you increase speed of development?
