Thanks for reply, but not necessarily I think.
For the most basic functionality, if Tweetie finds a 'RT' or 'via' in the tweet, it'll just check if you're following the user @mentioned. Then hide it.

The word-for-word copied tweets though: I agree.

Following the online Gmail web interface's paradigms on how to handle mail (which I find very efficient), the one problem remaining is how Mail then handles my mail.
Native archiving support to a particular IMAP folder would be great.
Also, when new email in a particular conversation come in, Mail should then pull out the old bits of the conversation thread and include it in the (excellent) conversation view in the my inbox.

Mail's IMAP IDLE support works great configured with multiple accounts.
It was a bit counter-intuitive though to have to disable 'check this account for new mail' in order to really get my emails pushed to me.

A feature in PicasaWeb that would be great is the ability to give others access to all the photos with themselves in it (including in unlisted albums of course).
Also maybe a way to give other users blanket access to all your unlisted and public albums. Examples include families, significant others. It's painful inviting them every time.

An option to hide Retweets in the timeline that you have already seen from one of your followers would be really handy.
I understand this probably would probably only work for word-to-word RTs, but even that will help clear up clutter.

Yup. After getting the initial '20 new mentions' I then get individual DM's and mentions (as I configured in notifications in Tweetie prefs) pushed to the phone formatted properly with the whole tweet as long as Tweetie is running.

Same here. It would be nice for this minor thing to be fixed, because each time I restart my Macbook, the 'xx new mentions' alert gets pushed to my phone via 'Prowl' too. – zahanm, on July 08, 2009 02:49

Strange. It works just fine for me. Have you configured the 'view' to use as 'Prowl' for Tweetie in particular within Growl's preference pane?

I'm finding this: http://bit.ly/XVGEn a problem with Prowl integration though.

Doesn't work for me either.
I heard it was a problem only with people with protected accounts (either you or that user).

On the same note: in that same menu for users, both the following statuses display 'error'. This is especially frustrating because I then have to go to the browser to follow a new user and to do THAT, I must select an individual tweet and open it in the browser.
All very irritating for an otherwise beautiful app.
