daimoh's reply to "Boxee As MythTV Frontend" was just promoted to the most useful! Zandoodlee and 9 other people think it's one of the best replies.

You know, there's "mythbox", which is a myth plugin for xmbc... can we make this a permanent feature of boxee?

CSPAN on Boxee?

So we're thinking about the inaugaration and all the excellent coverage of events that CSPAN provides, both streaming and online, but realizing that it is nowhere to be found on Boxee. When you get down to it, there are actually few broadcaster-types who are more cutting edge than CSPAN and co., so I'd be willing to bet that they would jump at the chance. Thoughts?

I'd like to see a way to pipe my laptop's current location into Tarpipe. I'm sure this would be good for many reasons; the reason I'm imagining is to auto-tag Evernote notes made on my laptop to the note-making location.

In looking for shows on Hulu recently, navigation was a big issue. With no way to easily jump to a portion of the huge list of TV shows on Hulu, I got quickly frustrated by scrolling down one show at a time and ended up going to my computer to add the shows to my queue. Could limitation by genre and jumping by first letters help this? I also didn't find a search feature, but that may have been my lack of persistence.

Agree – I haven't used it on ATV long enough to know when it's my not understanding the UI or when it's a slow response b/c of remote issues or alpha responsiveness, but I'd definitely prefer snappier and clearer navigation as shown.

+1 for me. I love Boxee on my new Apple TV, but dearly miss Pandora, and don't feel that using Airfoil is the real solution that is needed.

Had this issue as well. Disabling the extension "Hit-a-Hint" solved the problem. This is a shame, as it's a nice extension to browse without the mouse, though I hadn't used it recently. I hope they update it soon so I can have my cake and eat it, too.

For the record, I have Better Gmail 2 v0.6.1 and Delicious Bookmarks v2.095 installed (along with way too many other extensions), and Ubiquity 0.1 is working with then enter key just peachy.
