ZarK replied on December 23, 2008 16:07 to the problem "Link sharing doesn't work in opera." in Spotify:
Here is a temporary solution: Disable automatic redirection for open.spotify.com.
To get to site preferences, either hit F12 -> d, or right-click on the webpage and select the "Edit Site Preferences" option (or, go to Tools -> Quick Preferences -> Edit Site Preferences in the browser menu).
To disable automatic redirection, first on the General tab of site preferences, make sure the Site says "open.spotify.com" - it will default to the address of the web site you were vising when open preferences. Second, go to the Network tab and un-tick the checkbox in front of "Enable automatic redirection".
So to put it short:
1. Edit Site Preferences (F12 -> d)
2. General -> Site = open.spotify.com
3. Network -> Enable automatic redirection = unchecked.
I'll see if I can come up with a quicker way to set this setting.

Ah I see.. I misunderstood the problem then. I never actually tried using that link after getting the error :)

ZarK replied on August 11, 2008 11:42 to the question "How long does it take for the thumbshots to be generated?" in Secondbrain:
And the thumbshots have arrived! :)
I would have hoped though that the thumbshots could be generated from the actual content-page instead of the tumblr post page, but I see this is not included in the RSS feed, however it is included in the javascript (http://zark.tumblr.com/js), along with full comments instead of stripped down as in the RSS feed.
I guess you don't want to scrape the output from the js though... but they offer both XML and JSON output from their API too: http://www.tumblr.com/api
ZarK replied on August 08, 2008 11:13 to the problem "Some minor issues with latest update" in Secondbrain:
Another tumblr issue: can you please also import the comments? They are available both in the RSS and the js. Comments in the RSS feed are actually stripped down - full comments (better!) are available from http://zark.tumblr.com/js if you don't mind stripping away the rest of the output :)
ZarK asked a question in Secondbrain on August 08, 2008 11:10:
How long does it take for the thumbshots to be generated?I don't see thumbshots for any of my recently imported tumblr posts yet. I've incorporated free thumbshots myself on my tumblr blog design, and they usually appear within minutes.
I guess I'm just curious to see what the thumbshots looks like :) Hopefully not just the top-level domain?

Ya the one you linked looks nice, and made me recognize it. Nothing really wrong with current icon, the first thing I thought was "Oh, that's a nice icon they use for tumblr there." Then my second thought was "Hm... so where did they get that icon from?," probably since I just recently used their new icon on some bookmarklets and my web site. But now I'm almost sorry I brought it to your attention, since the "tumbling rose" is much more interesting than a white on black T.

Hm, sorry for the quadruple-posting.
Where did you get the icon for tumblr? Why not use their favicon, which is http://www.tumblr.com/images/favicon.gif? That's what I associate with tumblr.

Hm... neither get satisfaction nor secondbrain comment system manage to escape < and > correctly. Also, at lest get satisfaction fail to escape " correctly too.
Anyways, the tumblr links should be http://nick.tumblr.com instead of http://www.tumblr.com/user/nick

Some minor issues with latest updateGreat update! Just some minor issues:
1. Tumblr link should go to http://<nick>.tumblr.com instead of http://www.tumblr.com/user/<nick>
2. GoodReads link should go to http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/<userid> instead of http://www.goodreads.com/user/<userid>
3. Under the \"Your services\" list on my Second|Brain main page, the icon for facebook is that of twitter.
That's all for now :)</userid></userid></nick></nick>
ZarK replied on August 07, 2008 10:42 to the idea "Second|Brain Facebook App" in Secondbrain:
I second this - Facebook is one of the few sites I want to put my lifestream on, and since I aggregate my lifestream on Second|Brain... :)
If you do make a facebook app, make it (= the content) look really nice! I've used FriendFeed, but don't like how it looked - it was all about FriendFeed instead of the actual content from my lifestream.

Authentication problem with ScribdI am not able to add Scribd as a service - it fails on authentication on username/password.
Could this possibly be caused by my username starting with a . (punctuation) character?
