zen shared an idea in Twitter on June 24, 2009 22:23:
3-day-followingI think Twitter ought to have a 3-day-friend option that allows me to Follow someone for 3 days and then it asks me if i'd like to continue following them - if no answer then they drop off the 'followed' list. If i 'confirm' their status in the next 3 days then they're on the follow list. It's a way of 'test driving' friends and followers.

I agree with Sandra, there's your fee structure! That's how you make money on this service. The beauty of Twuffer are that posts 'seem' spontaneous when in fact they've been placed ahead of time. The people who want to do random or dadaist sayings; the people who want to advertise something but not all at once; the people who want to say something specific at a certain time of day, everyday; these are your potential paying customers because they want to lose the "powered by Twuffer" part of their post. You could charge them a monthly fee or one-time fee or something.
For instance, myself, i post Horoscopes. But not good ones, bad spanish translations of Horoscopes that some find amusing, or else i just do it for my own amusement. Either way, people can tell i've pre-loaded them if the posts state "powered by Twuffer" and i'd pay a nominal fee to be able to NOT have that as part of my post (AND be able to post at times that are not 'on the hour').
I think it's a great scheme, but you'd have to commit to it, and you're probably just having fun being a minor player in the Twitter fad (which may only last a year).
Good luck! -zen
