i didnt so anything at all - i installed wuala and it worked. same thing did my friend, he's running win2k too. i even tried installing it on a virtual machine with a different (not modiefied cd - on my real pc runs a win2k version i made with nlite) win2k version and it worked. only thing that might be special is that i installed wuala always with administrator login...
and since i installed netBEUI (restarting needed) even filesystem integration works :)
thx @ sunk

@Dominik
Thanks for looking at the Win2K problems. Here is a copy of error.log. I hope it helps.

@david: we will change the installer along with web start and i really hope it will solve the problems. i had it running on a win2k computer as well (don't have that anymore), but i also heard from people having problems. do you have a .log file in the program directory or anything that could have a look at?

@Habasch
Could you explain the steps you took to have it running?
I can't get it to start.
@moritz_
Wuala is a great program. I use it on 3 different machines and like every second of it. I also try to convert my colleagues.
My only peeve is Windows 2000 support. Your previous message gave me some hope but it might be misplaced. So to clarify matters : will your company investigate the problems with Win2k or is it pointless to expect a fix?
thanks in advance

Wuala on Windows 2000 problemHello
I'm a new Wuala user.
I installed it on my home machine running Windows XP without a problem. But I can't make it run on my second computer running Windows 2000.
It installs correctly but the program seems to crash when launched. The wuala.exe process appears shortly in the task manager then disappears without an error message. I have admin rights on this machine.
Is Wuala compatible with Windows 2000?
