Cuthere,
You have to add each Audio component to the object lists in the Revolver images. Also, make sure to set each Audio to Hide by Default (in the Timing section) and Loop (in the Properties).
Each audio file must be a music loop, because the audio file does not actually stop playing, the revolver just turns the sound off for it. A narration will not work because the user might skip around with the Revolver.
Currently, there is no way to link each image to a document.

Colleen,
I received the file and downloaded it. I also replied to you in email. I am looking into it right now, but I was wondering if you had any success uploading smaller files?
Other users have reported problems uploading large files, so I am trying to figure out how much file size is an issue.

LCG_Colleen,
We must have missed your fly file, or it did not go through. Can you send the link directly to zgelman@flypaper.com, and I will take a look?
Thanks,

Link to old forumsThe old forums will be "read only" and all the new posts will be done here on getSatisfaction.com.
Here is the link to the old forums:
http://forum.flypaper.net/
It will serve as a temporary resource of older information. We will be moving the posts to getSatisfaction, and soon we will remove the old forum. The Login button is an administrative function only, and you will not be able to login to the old forum with your Flypaper account.
We moved the forum, because we believe getSatisfaction.com/flypaper is a better way to find the information you need and post your questions. Also the old forum was being attacked by hackers and slowed down the response on our servers.

OK, that makes sense. Were you able to perform the update successfully after temporarily disabling the virus scan? Also, could you now log into the community with the new link? – zgelman, on September 17, 2008 00:15

Flypaper won't startThe "check for update" dialog appears, but Flypaper does not start. If you cancel the update, the application starts but you cannot share new stories to the community.
The solution is to update to the latest version (1.02): http://www.flypaper.com/download/defa...

Tom,
Did you experience this error during the update to Version 1.02? Another user has reported this issue and we have suggested disabling the anti-virus scan while performing the update.
For the community log in, try going directly to: http://account.flypaper.net/Users/MyP... and see if you can log in.
We are looking into both of these issues.

Flypaper Branding shows up in upper right corner. If your story was created in an earlier version of Flypaper than the latest version (1.02 – released Saturday, Sept 13), you may see the Flypaper logo in the upper right corner when you had originally set the story to not show the logo.
The fix is to update to the latest version of Flypaper (1.02), then upload your story again to the community:
1. Click on the Share toolbar and select Interactive Web Story.
2. Uncheck the checkbox that says “Show Flypaper Logo”. This will remove the logo in the upper right corner.
3. Click Post.
A comment on the problem "Error: sqlceexception- Operating system does not support encryption" in Flypaper:
Ecoreactive,
Could you turn your anti-virus filter off while performing the Flypaper update? Rather than trying to specifically exempt Flypaper from the anti-virus scan, can you completely turn it off while the update is running? Then, you can turn it back on when it is installed. This may resolve your issue. – zgelman, on September 15, 2008 22:45

Problems uploading story to community.Special characters in media files often cause problems in uploading the story to the community. For example, you might see an error message "could not load audio resource". Usually, this means there are special characters like the forward slash in the file name. The solution is to re-record the audio and rename it with no special characters.
zgelman asked a question in Flypaper on September 09, 2008 18:50:
Flypaper story takes a long time to save.Flypaper stories that take a long time to save often have too many page elements inside the story. The solution is to remove unnecessary page elements, especially if the same ones are repeated on multiple pages.
Another potential culprit is an anti-virus scan running while you are trying to save the story. The solution is to turn off the anti-virus scan while saving large stories.
