Hi Jonas,
thanks for your feedback!
zero" currently allows you to listen to every part of the track on track details.
Give it a try:
http://www.zero-inch.com/products/20007
Just click somewhere in the track and the selection will move there and will play the selected part for 30 secs. You can then move it somewhere else, and so on... so - actually you are able to listen to the full track - but in snippets.
However, we fully understand your arguments and are already working on full length prelistenings for specials apps (such as widgets, desktop apps, podcasts, etc..)
Maybe we can even extend it on the site to something like 1 minute, but we need to discuss this with our licensors and the collecting societies we're working with.
Give us some time with that, and make sure to check the trackdetails to get a complete impression of the tracks you consider to purchase!
Thanks + keep on zero"-ing

hash tagginghi there,
it would be great to not only have the possability to prepend text to a feed before it gets send to twitter, but also to be able to append text.
this would make support for hastagging a little more "human readable":
[ feed title ] #hashtag #hashtag [ tinyurl ]
instead of
#hashtag #hashtag [ feed title> ] [ tinyurl ]
a second input form in the feed setup would just do the job fine ;-)
a further thought:
- defining keywords which appear in the feedtext that get a "#" prepended to use them as hashtags
http://hashtags.org/
it would be a really great and most feasible fur us!

If you're doing your own posting to twitter using the API (i.e not using twitterfeed itself), then you should discuss issues at this group: http://groups.google.com/group/twitter-development-talk – Mario Menti, on May 13, 2008 18:02

I'm posting to this url:
http://twitter.com/statuses/update.xml
using http post. I wrote a short ColdFusion script that grabs content from my RSS feeds and posts them to the twitter url above.
All of my posts are duplicated, weather I include a url or not. Is there another url I should be using to post from my script?

znrR replied on May 06, 2008 20:17 to the question "when will the custom widgets be ready to roll?" in zero":
hey brandom,
zero" provides 3 kind of widgets that play audio:
one mini sized for tracks, one med sized for releases and one for catalogues of labels & artists and also charts / new releases.
the last one will be available upon the launch of our site to our licensors and partners. we expect a public version which will be able to display & play ones clipboard by june.
the mini and med sized one should also be ready by then.
bear with us and stay tuned!

Hi, I've taken a look, but can't seem to see a reason for this. One thing I noticed is that twurl.nl creates a new short URL every time it's called with the same URL to shorten, so the check that is in place at twitterfeed (it compares the short URL to previous ones in your account) won't work with twurl (tinyurl appears to create the same shortened URL if called multiple times with the same URL, so it works in these cases).
However, this doesn't explain why the items were posted more than once, since the publish date should handle that (the above check would only be useful if for some reason items are re-published to a feed, with updated publish dates, and we want to avoid posting them again). I manually tried to replicate the double post, but can't seem to get it to do it. Could you see if this happens consistently, or was a one-off issue (if you like, post to a different account if you want to avoid the risk of double posts to your main twitter account)? If it happens again the next time you post, let me know and I'll try to dig a bit deeper.
Sorry for the inconvenience...

hello there,
i am a little clueless, our feed http://beta.zero-inch.com/feed?flavou... gets posted 2x times to twitter and i dono why.
i do tripple checked, there's only one active feed for the zero_inch twitter account on twitterfeed.
it would be great to use twitterfeed, it is exactly what we need and like, but double postings are kinda unfunky (and linkless postings are kinda useless for us).
any ideas how to get twitterfeed to omly post one psoting per RSS entry?
thanks and best from berlin!
