the fan-out function is great! but the icons from the pile appear below (not above) other floor icons.
Even better if when passing over other floor icons those would dim so you could focus on those you are dragging

bump this folder is slow -> a link to a folder placed on the floor should offer the option to bump it right there (without opening explorer then bump). it should also be much faster :-), and much cooler

when an icon has a long filename this is not wrapped making it difficult to read.
Also for .URL files, the URL is shown instead of the filename.
I'm using xp pro sp2 italian version.

Any window with transparency (alpha) will redraw different backgrounds when restored, and when bumptop repaints it just gets hidden
