We have several employees that we would want to input their time allocated to certain projects in timesheet format and also input their expenses. Would this mean that they would be considered as a user? if so then the software will be too expensive for us. Please can you clarify this before i download a trial. Thanks

Each individual employee would have to be a unique user.
Periscope doesn't support recording of expenses at the moment, so it may not be suitable for your needs anyway.
You're more than welcome to check out a free trial anyway. Periscope is completely web based, so there's no software to download and no hassle!
