An easy way to add additional XMP fields?
Thanks for a great tool! Much better than having to shell out $300 for LightRoom, or use a command line utility.
It would be really nice if it were possible to easily add additional XMP fields defined by other schemas out there (say by providing PictureSync with a link to the namespace URL...) In particular, I'd like to be able to add the ones pertaining to licensing details, as described here by Creative Commons: http://wiki.creativecommons.org/XMP

Inappropriate?Currently the user interface doesn't accommodate any flexible way of adding additional fields, but I'll certainly add support for Creative Commons XMP as a special case, i.e. at the very least a popup menu to specify the particular licence. Would you also want to specify morePermissions / attributionURL / attributionName individually, or would you find specifying this as a free-form string in the Copyright statement field adequate?

Inappropriate?I guess I'm a metadata fiend. If they were available I'd certainly use attribution name and URL e.g.:
cc:license = http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...
cc:attributionURL = http://zaneselvans.org (my OpenID)
cc:attributionName = Zane Selvans
I'm hoping that eventually there'll be some kind of machine readable licensing data structure, such that re-use of content can be done without any humans involved (please send my 5% royalty for commercial use to this PayPal account... etc.)
But really here, the most important field is cc:license. My name is in the Author field, and I'm certainly findable with only that information. I wonder if Flickr parses these CC license field?
I’m happy
