Pics at original size?
Is it possible to get the default sized pic to link to the original size pic? The default display size is actually a bit small; I've noticed it on two of the pics I've uploaded today that they're too small to see the detail the photo was all about.

Inappropriate?Hey, unfortunately, at the moment we don't link to the original image, since they are generally a lot heavier and not used by the vast majority of our users.
We have had this request before, and we are playing around with the possibility of adding pro accounts, which will then provide the ability to download the original image from the site, as well as push out high res to Facebook, and Flickr. This is just one of the features that pro accounts will have. We are working out a feature list right now, before we officially enable the pro accounts.
Hope this helps, and don't hesitate if you have further inquiries.

Inappropriate?Hi Emmanuel. Thanks for the prompt reply.
How about a compromise: pick a standard image size, say 1600x1200 or whatever, and anything that size or smaller, save the original and link to it. Anything larger, continue with the current method. This would obviously take more storage space, but not excessively so, and it would allow people like me to use pikchur almost exclusively for mobile photos and such.
I'm wanting to replace twitpic.com because of its unreliability, and pikchur is so far the perfect replacement except for this one issue. I would definitely be willing to go the Pro account route as long as the original image size is preserved. With the feature set you already have, it would be a really great tool.
And, sorry, one more feature request - the ability to edit photo captions and geotag information.
Thanks again! -
Inappropriate?I'm wanting to replace twitpic, too, and I like the idea of posting to multiple places at the one time, but I only want my original sized-photo to go to Flickr (and the photos I post will never be huge because they're coming via Twittelator Pro). At the moment the photo is too small for me to include on Flickr.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? This feature is currently enabled for pro accounts, which we are still playing around with. They should be activated soon with the ability to subscribe as a pro member at minimal cost.
It will also include a multitude of other features, such as no ads, priority queueing of images, detailed referral stats for images, more pics per page on profile, and some other things we are playing around with.
Hang tight as we are still working out what features the pro accounts will include. :-) If you have any ideas of what you would like to see as a pro member we would definitely consider adding it to our list.
I’m excited

Inappropriate? That quick response gives PikChur more points! Even if a response says "it's coming soon" it's way better than no response or taking a long time to respond. Thank you!
I’m happy
