i wish wish wish wish ping.fm could update basic common profile sections too like bio and movies and phone # etc
I'm tired of signing up for another social networking site and having to give it the same old data over and over. Not to mention adding a new favorite movie to 8 profile pages. Sync baby!
hey, lets say i have 10 services added on ping.fm but am only posting to four out of the ten services, for example lets say myspace was one of the services i wasnt posting to if i typed @my hello it doesn't update my status and I would love it if it would. Pretty much I was wondering if you guys could implement a better way to choose which service you want to post to at whenever youre getting ready to update your status via ping.fm sort of like hellotxt, thanks :)
The Ping.fm service is great but it has one limitation that I'm finding limiting.
We can't post to our personal blogs that are not hosted on one of the services you support.
Various blogging API's exist for posting from desktop software, and a lot of weblog software supports them. The Blogger API, LiveJournal API and so on.
It would be great if we could enter our details for our blogs that support these API's and post to them using Ping.fm.
My email updates sent to ping.fm only get to their destinations when I don't use accents in the text. Being a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, writing a sentence without accents is almost impossible. Any problems like that before?
love ping.fm! just hope you guys will check the spelling on http://ping.fm/ref/help/ . there is a couple repeated periods and increase is spelled increse. just little details, but i thought i'd let you guys know.
I run a drupal site and would like to know if I can update the site from ping using the post to blog method. If not, is this feature planned? (or even possible?)
Is Ping not posting to Blogger? It was fine yesterday.
Today, I've sent a mobile blog post from Ping and a regular blog post from my PC to Ping. Neither post showed up on Blogger, even though they both appeared on LiveJournal so I know Ping saw the posts.
It seems there is some weirdness with mobile plurk. My suggestion would be to put the "posting" part up towards the top of mobile ping.fm, rather than having to scroll through all of the services that are (or are not) set up to get to the form to make a post. Just an idea. Thought I'd share it.
There is no longer a "remember me" option for the Windows Mobile version of Ping.fm. I have to log in EVERY time I want to use it from my cell phone. :( Please give us back the "remember me" option.
