Best way to upload multiple images via e-mail?

Is there a rate limit for e-mail posts? I posted three updates via the e-mail method, and only two of them appeared. Is there an issue with the system, or is there some sort of rate limiting in place?

I ask because I was posting images and was curious whether I should post multiple images in one e-mail or one image per e-mail?
