Can I post .png files? and how should the email be formatted?
what picture formats are okay to post? and what format does the email need to be? for example, If I take a screenshot, and save it as say, screenshot.png, how do I email it to ping.fm?
Does the text of the post go as the subject of the email? or the body? Can I just attach the pic or does it need to be inline?
I tried to email a .png file 3 different times, it never posted... The text did though.

uh... you mean JPG? Also. feature request. File transfer through Jabber to post instead of just email... -
Inappropriate?From my experiments, it varies from service to service. On micro-blogging platforms, generally I will get the subject of the email ignored. The complete body will be posted as the micro-blogging post as well as a link to the image.
