Inappropriate?Nope. They aren't in the supported services list. You can wait for an official answer but I think that updating the status on those isn't possible +_+

if it would be so easy, they would have done it already. problem with the skype api is that it only works with a skype client running and being logged into. now do that in an internet cafe or on a mobile phone ... -
Inappropriate?I see that ping.fm has AIM listed in its updates, as well as Google Talk. However, I never see a change on my iChat whenever I use it. I have both these services updated on ping.fm but I'm unsure as to what I need to do to get iChat to recognize the changes.
Thoughts???

Inappropriate?You can update Ping.fm by sending messages on AIM or Google Talk, but you can't use Ping.fm to update your status on those two applications.

Inappropriate?Well, I already do that - I send IM's to my pingfm 'bots' on GTalk or AIM, but with the recent addition of support for GTalk and AIM, this question surfaced for me. I'd love it to be automatic... ya know, save me about 5 extra seconds ;) When I update ping.fm, nothing happens to my status on AIM or GTalk. Why not if I have it set up to 'talk' to those protocols?1 Comment Add a comment

So did this get added? I use both Skype and iChat to send updates TO Ping.fm but Ping.fm will not update my status in Skype or iChat.

Inappropriate?It hasn't been added for Skype, but it has for AIM, which is the service on which I use iChat.
