Can't edit Facebook settings in Ping.fm

I already have Ping.fm added as an application to my Facebook profile. When I want to edit the settings of Facebook in my Ping.fm account, I always get the same message:

"The Ping.fm Facebook application allows you to set your Facebook status by posting a message to Ping.fm. You must add the Ping.fm application to your Facebook account to enable this service.

Click the button below to login to your Facebook account and add the Ping.fm application. "
