Delicious with Ping.fm

I noticed that the Delicious integration works when I have other social networks listed, but when I only have Delicious on my list it doesn't work. I really only want to use Delicious with Ping.fm because it seems to be the only way I can share links from my iPhone to Delicious. Am I missing a setting somewhere or is there any way to do this without adding other services?
