Error requesting authorization for pingbot@bots.ping.fm from an OpenFire Jabber server.
Hi-
I'm unable to request authorization (XMPP authorization) from the primary Ping.FM Jabber bot using an OpenFire Jabber server. Doing the same from my GTalk account works just fine. I'm wondering if it's the server I'm communicating from in this case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Inappropriate? We had to make a server whitelist for our jabber server. Instead of adding to this whitelist, we prefer for anyone on a non-gtalk or jabber.org server to use our gtalk bot: http://ping.fm/im/gtalk/

Inappropriate? So, are you whitelisting Google's servers, or just Google's domains (gmail.com, googlemail.com, etc.)? Because I have Google Apps for my domain, and pingbot@bots.ping.fm doesn't work for me either.
I’m hopeful

If you are running it on your own domain it will most likely be blocked. You should be able to use our gtalk bot though. http://ping.fm/im/gtalk

Inappropriate? Thanks, Adam. Yes, I have my SRV records setup properly. I can chat with other non-google XMPP domains just fine.
Thanks again. I'll just stick with the gmail.com bot.
