Integration with third party URL shortening services
I think it'd be an awesome addition to Ping.FM if you could integrate any automatically shortened URL's into a third party such as http://tr.im/.
Tr.im is a really nice service; short domain, customizable link, advanced stat tracking, handy API....
There are also several other services out there doing the same thing with their own API.
I understand Ping.FM does it's own shortening and that stats are a planned feature, but as I see it, adding third party's would only improve your service (added reason for people to join + added satisfaction for existing users). It should also be pretty straight forward (I'd imagine) to implement...
Cheers :)

Inappropriate?I like using tr.im too: shorter URLs and click tracking makes me a happy guy.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I should also add: tr.im offers accounts to allow long term URL tracking, so any kind of implementation of tihs feature would benefit from the ability to generate tr.immed URLs under a tr.im account.

Inappropriate?I support the tr.im links too please. They are two digits shorter, which is significant on some tweets, and as I already have an account there, being able to log them all from the same place would be good.
