issue with livejournal
no longer posts to this blog - even from the dashboard (perhaps the API needs to be updated?)
then i tried removing the network and then re-adding. my credentials are correct but ping.fm can't validate?
help would be gratefully appreciated. (by the way, FANTASTIC service, thank you very much)

Inappropriate?I've checked with a couple of other Ping/LJ users...
Posting to LiveJournal through Ping.FM is currently completely broken.
I also had my LJ account suspended around 24-36 hours ago as it was "was flagged as potentially being a bot account"... It was unsuspended after a human review, but I have been unable to post via Ping since.
I suspect LJ admins (or maybe automated monitoring software) noticed hundreds (or thousands) of LJ accounts being updated from a small number of IP addresses (the Ping.FM servers) and blacklisted those IPs. </speculation>

We have blocked access from ping.fm as the overwhelming majority of content being posted from it to LiveJournal is spam. Until certain measures have been taken to correct this, we will be unable to accept posts originating from ping.fm.

Inappropriate?Yeah they've released the IP blocks on our servers. We have to work with them for some spam prevention so this doesn't happen again.
