Issues with MySpace Auth
Signed up awhile ago, but just now getting a chance to setup. I know there were issues w/MySpace yesterday, from your Twitter feed, yet this AM, my attempts to setup MySpace as a "pingable" service fail with a "Could not authenticate your MySpace information" error. I logged out and double-checked my MySpace login info, just in case, and it's all good.
Help? Otherwise, loving the service so far.

Inappropriate?If you are unable to verify your myspace account through ping.fm, ensure you can actually login to myspace. If your myspace login is stored, retype it, because the ***** is probably not what you think it is. (this is the problem 99% of the time)
If you still have a problem, e-mail me the username you are trying (adam at ping dot fm) and i will check the logs for processing errors.

Inappropriate?I just joined the service. My twitter and facebook accts update fine but it won't let me add myspace. I suspect it's because myspace just added a captcha verification to it's login process (at least for my two accts). Is anyone looking into this?

Inappropriate?It won't authenticate either. I tried it multiple times, checked my password, logged in and everything. If multiple people complains about the issue, about 99% of the time...it has something to do with the app itself.
Twitter and other networks worked just fine, just not MySpace.

If you are still having a myspace auth problem, set your password to something temporary and e-mail your un/pw to me for testing (adam at ping dot fm). 99% of the time so far it has been an account-specific problem. If you notice, each of these reports are about a month apart and thousands of people use it daily.

Inappropriate?this has been fixed. goto: http://ping.fm/myspace and re-link your account. This now uses MySpace's public API and no longer requires your credentials to be stored on Ping.fm's site.
