It would be great if send direct messages to Ping in Twitter
Right now I send to Ping via my GTalk channel in Meebo, via the Meebo desktop client Meebone. But I review Twitter updates in Snitter. If I could send a direct message to Ping within Snitter (or any other Twitter client) I wouldn't have to have two desktop clients running.

Inappropriate?This is something snitter would have to implement. We do allow 3rd party sites and applications to send messages through our website. Send them a message telling them about how awesome ping.fm is. Be sure to give them a beta code because they'll have to sign up to get a developer key.

Inappropriate?I wasn't really referring to snitter or 3rd party support.
For example, instead of going to the ping.fm home page, what if a user went to twitter, and instead of doing a normal tweet, which only gets published in twitter, the user sent a direct message to ping. Then ping rebroadcasts the text to all the user's sites, including twitter.
