Live Messenger connectivity
I have read all the threads on working with Live Messenger and tried all the suggestions. However, I cannot get my Ping.fm contact to be on-line. Are there any other suggestions or work-arounds.

Inappropriate?Arg! I've had this problem for a couple weeks, but I'm not getting any "satisfaction" on other posted questions. Is there a solution to this problem, or do we just count the Windows Live Messenger bot down and out??

Inappropriate?Can't we hear more from pingFm other than the response they've posted that the problem is on windows live's end. How is it their problem? Explain to us because the rest of my contacts are appearing and they only go to away status when they are idle.

Inappropriate?I just found another site that post from WLM to Twitter. The bot is always online and works. The site is http://twip.me/ and I use it to update Twitter and use Facebook's Twitter app to update Facebook with Twitter status. http://twip.me/ doesn't have any other social sites though, just Twiitter. Hope it helps.

Inappropriate?For the last 3 weeks the Ping.fm contact is not available in Windows Live Messenger. Does anyone know how I can fix it?

Inappropriate?The current bot is using the official WLM 2009 (build 14.0) client with an addon that simply replies to messages. It has been showing online and working for tons of people. I am not sure why it wouldn't show online for certain people. There are a few on block for abuse but other than that it's open to everyone.

Adam's right, it has been working. I do want to say though Adam that the bot seems to go offline at night. Is it that someone is turning off the computer when they leave work? -
it does crash every few days. the actual wlm client too, go figure. i have a way to monitor it so i can get it back up, but not when i'm asleep, so that may explain the problems at night sometimes.

Inappropriate?DLC if you add ping.fm and the twip.me bots then you'll have better reliability because when Twip is down pingfm is usually up and the opposite tend to be true. This way you'll at least make 1 somewhat reliable service out of 2 not so reliable services. ;)
