Mail forwarded to ping.fm email address not accepted. Why?
all emails sent to my gmail plus-addressing address (username+ping@gmail.com) set to auto-forward to my ping.fm address never appear as updates. I think the problem may be that gmail does not replace the "to:" header on the email so it still shows "to: username+ping@gmail.com." Can anything be done about this?

Inappropriate?If the Ping e-mail address isn't the first e-mail in the To: field, it's not going to work. I think they are going to fix this eventually. -
Inappropriate?Could be a variety of things really. If the forwarded e-mail has any headers that aren't acceptable for our mail system it will fail. The TO: field needs to have your Ping e-mail as the first recipient. And yeah, Ryan is right as we will improve this.
