New version of WordPress Custom URL plugin released
Hey everyone,
Version 1.2.1 of my WordPress plugin for Ping.fm was released today, and you should totally upgrade if you haven't yet. If you're still using 1.1.0, the latest releases have added a lot of shine and polish to the total package.
Coming up next: pictures posted from Ping.fm can optionally be sucked down into the native WordPress photo/media gallery. It's gonna be suh-weeeeet!
Matt
Note 1: This has nothing to do with WordPress.com blogs. It's only for self-hosted WordPress blogs (where you run WP on your own server).
Note 2: This plugin is not to be confused with the PingPressFM plugin. Mine uses Ping.fm's Custom URL feature to go from Ping to your blog. The other plugin essentially works in reverse.

Inappropriate?pictures sucked into native wordpress photo/media gallery sounds perfect!

Inappropriate?when i try to activate this plugin, i receive the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONST, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/.calyx/redelement/striatic.net/journal/wp-content/plugins/pingfm-custom-url-status-updates/pingfm.php on line 45
i have checked and seem to meet all the system requirements. too bad, this plugin would have been great for me. -
Inappropriate?okay my web-host was falsely reporting i was upgraded to php 5 when i wasn't - but i fixed it. silly web-host.

Inappropriate?Glad you got everything working. Everyone should be using PHP 5, because PHP 4 has been EOL'd for at least a year now. New features coming soon... I promise.

Inappropriate?excellent. turns out it doesn't really suit my needs yet because I post mostly photos to blog/status networks. so definitely like the idea of anything photo related. if you need any help testing just let me know.
I’m happy
