Ping.Fm Posts Privately/Locked Updates on Facebook
When I post via Ping.fm on my Facebook profile it shows a lock next to it and shows "Only Me." It didn't do this before. I want those to be public.

This is not an option on our end. Based on how the process works I am sure it is a setting somewhere on Facebook's side. I just dug around Facebook settings and I do not even know how you would enable or disable such an option. I will try to contact them for some more help on this.

Inappropriate?Facebook has this as a privacy option. It recently switched it as a glitch. I believe it is fixed now.

Inappropriate?I have had this a couple of times suddenly. Oddly, it only seems to happen on posts with no bit.ly link. The updates with a link post normally.

Inappropriate?Oh, I see it now. Settings >> Account Settings >> Privacy >> Manage >> Profile >> Publisher Control Default.
Won't unhide your previous updates, though. Too bad, cause I said some funny stuff yesterday.

I had to look carefully at how I followed that path -- but when I did, there was the setting and it solved the problem.
