Ping in reverse?

I now have a ping.fm account & sync my update accounts, but it doesn't work in reverse correct? Meaning I can't receive updates to ping.fm? Thanks!

Right. Ping.fm is only for sending out your messages. There are a few other services out there that read your messages back in such as socialthing and profilactic.
