Please include Google Lattitude as a network
Google just released a new product called Google Lattitude - a location based tracker. Would be great to tie into Ping.fm to allow updates for folks without GPS on the phone.

Inappropriate?Due to the youth of this product, there is no possible way to interact. Until they allow developer access to this new service, we can't add it. Maybe soon though.

Inappropriate?Status on Google Latitude is nothing else that the dear old status on Google Talk, so if it's possible to access that Latitude is updated too.

And since Talk is a Ping.fm network, this should work. -
Inappropriate?I see that the latitude status does update when you update your gtalk status which is really cool. But it doesn't get the location, which is a key element for the latitude service.

Latitude's API are not yet available AFAIK, anyway update location via ping is not that easy: see Brightkite for instance. Latitude's idea is to push the location with a mobile phone with GPS or triangulation, not to receive it from other services. I think we'll have some application linking it to Brightkite sometime soon though. -
