posting via email does not work
Posting form gmail to my ping.fm email adress does not work at all. I tired putting the text both in the body and the subject line. The post vanishes, never appears in the recent posts

Inappropriate?I'm having the same exact problem. I've followed the steps to resolving the problem, but it appears that the email posts don't even make it to my Ping.fm recent posts from my gmail account. I've tried doing this from both my blackberry and the webmail. I've used simple text and setup my default posting methods to be blog only with text in the subject line and body.
i've tested from the dashboard and those go through.
...is there an outage?

Inappropriate?guys - for me it was the carat (^):
you have to put your entire message in either the subject or the body, separating the content with the a carat; you can't put the subject of your blog in the subject field of your email and the body of your blog in the message field - you must choose one.

Inappropriate?I was testing this out from my BlackBerry as a new user and found that the subject needed to be blank. Give that a try.
