Pownce Truncates Pings After 140 Characters

It seems ping.fm considers pownce a microblogging tool. Pownce can post longer then just 140 characters, so technically it's a blogging tool. Well then again, your not going to post essay's on this site. So it's in between microblogging and regular blogging. Can the developers fix this so users can post medium sized posts on Pownce?
