Prefixes not working within Facebook App
'Adjust Grammar' and 'disable URL shortening' prefixes were not working for me within Facebook Application.
I used the * prefix to disable shortening of a URL but it just included my *.
The same happened when I used % to insert my username.

Inappropriate? Not actually working at all, as far as I can tell, from even the normal dashboard update form.
I’m dissapointed
-
Inappropriate?Make sure you enter your name in your profile for this to work. It's stated in the help area, but I need to put more attention on that.
-
Inappropriate? Also make sure no other services are updating your Facebook profile. I was having lots of problems with the adjust grammar feature and Facebook until I realized that Twitter was also updating my Facebook status via the Facebook Twitter application. Twitter must've been posting it's own status to Facebook a split second after Ping.fm, thus mangling the grammar adjustment. Turned off the Facebook Twitter application and that resolved my issues.
I’m happy

Actually, this does indeed solve the status problem. Not sure about the URL shortening though... -
This happens often with the infinite amount of apps that update/sync your status. Thanks Joey for the post.
