I really want to use ping.fm but this is stopping me. I would setup my own feed to do it or even a site for anyone else to do it via the API but ping.fm keep promising it soon so I don't.
I don't want them to send me anything by SMS so it won't cost them anything other than the setup, I just want to be able to text in :-( pretty please!

Inappropriate?The home page of the site says we can use sms to send text messages to ping.fm with regular text messages. How is it done?

Inappropriate?I see that it can be done with SMS using a web based phone but it would be awesome to have a phone number that can be used with regular texting. Our phone number would be setup in ping.fm so that any text from our number would update our own social network sites only. I don't have a web based cell phone!!!
