Updates from email with accented characters get lost in the way
Updates written with Brazilian Portuguese (pt-br) accented characters sent via email never make it to Plurk and Twitter. They do show in Ping.fm queue, but never on the final destination sites... what's wrong?

Inappropriate?Same problem here with French. Putting accents and they are destroyed and displayed as little white question marks in black box instead of the original character.
I’m unimpressed.

Inappropriate?Found out this morning that in my case the fault was my own GMail's encoding settings for outgoing messages. It wasn't configured to send messages encoded in UTF-8. I then set it to do so and my updates to Plurk and Twitter started to get across smoothly, regardless of being accented or not
.
I’m happy!
